The Children' Nest Boutique is owned and maintained by Meghan Russo. The store officialy opened in January 2007. Meghan received a Master's Degree in elementary education and taught as an Elementarty School teacher from 1996 to 2005. In 2005, Meghan moved to Nashville with her husband due to his job relocation. Meghan decided to take a break from teaching and became a full time nanny working with an 8 week old baby named Abbey. Abbey inspired Meghan to combine her love of shopping and children by creating her own upcale boutique featuring unique and custom items for baby & children. Working with the guidance of Abbey's mother, a very successful graphic designer, Meghan taught herself html and built and created her own online website. Abbey is featured on many of the pages throughtout the store as The Children's Nest boutique's featured model. The store was an instant success and has many loyal customers and vendors. The store continues to grow and is constantly updating the featured deisgners and merchandise. In January 2008 the store will feature many new designer labels and bedding, so be sure to check back often. Meghan is currently living in New York City with her husband. She keeps herself busy working as a part-time nanny & running the store. She loves customer feedback and suggestions, so feel free to sign the guest book!
